R.J. Field Woodworking was started in 2025, after I suffered a period of poor mental health. I found purpose and peace in making things from timber, from taking the mundane and making it homely. 

I have always loved rustic design, the old-fashioned product made using the modern methods. I always look forward to making new things, learning and discovering how to work with wood, how to take a forgettable piece of timber and make it unforgettable.
